i have so much to do today. i can't even capitalize my Words

but i was up late last night working on some freelance stuff and playing the Barry Can't Swim Boiler room, because I'm very into Barry Can't Swim after listening to his "Dance of the Crab" at the end of last year...

and the opening song was so good that i was like....what the hell is this....what is this groovy house song with a deep voice that keeps saying what sounds like CHOOMBA CHOOMBA...

well, it's "Xumba Xumba (Eden Burns Remix)" by Mainline Magic Orchestra...

turns out Mainline Magic Orchestra are a "house music boy band" / "live techno collective" in Barcelona and they did a Boiler Room of their own...

when i tell you...this is not how i want ALL my music to be, but it is definitely a personal platonic ideal of SOME music....anyway, a happy discovery at the end of a stressful week...the kind of week where i was busy enough to have to get my exercise in while making some emotional phone calls, resulting in me crying while power-walking up a hill multiple times...K8 Bush in the motherfuckin house...anyway, let's move into our weekend with the power of Xumba Xumba...
